Actually I am a computer software engineer and I can assure you chamelon isn't something you slap together in a day or 2. Besides updating its couple thousand tgp database weekly, it has companion software (confirmer) that handles the hundreds of emails and the assisted manual submit function for the rest.
I think the original poster that gave you this solid advice was just being helpful. The big tgps are hard to get listed on - you have to pay - and the little ones don't make enough uniques to be worth submitting to, one by one,anyway.
