looking for a good tutorial on extracting b/g images and so forth.. wanna brushen up on my skills and find that removing backgrounds is my big weakness..

yeah tempted to.. i mean i can extract images (remove my bg and keep my body there) but not very sharp and when it comes time to touch up where i removed it just looks horridComment

Think...remove your body, not remove the background. It might be easiter that way.

There are two cleanup tools that will help. Instead of extracting right after you fill, hit preview and then you can use the cleanup tools to erase a little more or add some back.
I also use the polygonal lasso tool often. The pen tool also works well.
