you're doing it all wrong if you place that much importance on the domain. It does help, but very little.

The ordering matters but like MrPheer said, very little relevance is placed on the actual domain name.

You should separate keywords with dashes or there will be no difference in the word order - SE simply don't recognise different phrases written together.

*used* to be is the main part here. On some older engines like altavista it still might be beneficial, but for Google, it's on the lower end of the spectrum in their ranking algorithms.

In Yahoo the domain name definetly matters quite a bit as does the order to a lesser extent.

and

returns exactly same results in

google and yahoo

and lists no sites from above in Altavista

Deepavs is 100% right.

Dashes and underlines work the same. I suggest you choose one and buy all your domains with either dashes or underlines. When you mix them up you will make typos in your coding.
