One of my friends is a huge Prince fan, and she's going to go see George Carlin with me Thursday instead of going to the Price show on the same night across town. Tickets are not cheap....though I happily paid $158 for Dream Theater/Queensryche at the Paramount in Seattle.

They figure anyone stupid enough to pay to see that midget live.. is stupid enough to pay $75.
... but seriously, thats just the way concert tickets are going these days. Most artists make shit on their music, and make all their money from live shows / merchandising.
already have my tickets for the tdot show!
snagged ones on the side closest the stage just one section over from dead center....i can't wait!!!!
i'd pay anything to see prince live!!
It was WELL WORTH the money, serious. You won't regret it. Morris Day and the Time even showed up and did an hour set or so in Atlanta. Wish I'd have seen THAT one.

Yeah I think that is pretty much a standard price. I'm not a prince fan at all though. It absolutely bores the shit out of me and I can't find anything to appreciate in it. Just seems like a beat machine with some singing.
I went to a Metallica show and paid more than that, they had cool lighting, explosives and fireworks, great atmosphere, and they can play their instruments, a great experience.

Prince is now a huge Jehovah Witness and he basically won't sing anything that is controversial. He only did a verse here or there of the hits. It was more like a retrospective bits and pieces of songs. He changed the lyrics to very religious ones. Or he just turned his head away from the microphone so he didn't have to say the words.
He also did a Beyonce song and Soul Man? WTF?
I've seen him before and of course the music was great, but I came to see the dirty sweaty horny Prince and hear 'the hits' for the last time.
There was no after party, but there was a prayer meeting.
Download the CD on the net ... fuck live shows and fuck prince

I rebooted, deleted temp files, history, cookies and everything...still cannot view the news clip. All I see is that fucking gay ass music video from "Rick Roll". Anyone else have a different link to the news clip?

Oh.. he wore orthopedic shoes not boots.
I guess he doesn't like sex anymore.
Wow, that's fucking weak!!! You should get your money back.

I like Morris Day and the Time, do they have a site ?
I have seen Prince 3 times. First time was in 1983 on his 1999 tour, The Time and Vanity 6 opened for him. (Cleveland, OH)
Then saw him in 1987 in San Francisco, he performed with no opening bands and played for nearly 3 hrs!
I saw the Prince show in Atlanta last week and it was great. Hey if Madonna tickets are going for $300 face so you can listen to her cd for 1 1/2 hours why not pay a real musician.
Hey and there were tons on hot women there single!
