Cubans will rip off a tourist faster than anything. They steal the rings, boxes, and stuff, and use 9th grade floor sweepings to make fakes. They will look great, they will be in the right box, they will smell fine, and they will have all the draw of a wet rag.
You might as well smoke the lawn from the front of your hotel.
If you are going to go all that way and want to bring home a quality smoke, it pays to shop where you know they are real.
