Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Definitely going to check out Dell and NewEgg.
(I would have to be paid handsomely to inflict a Compaq on a model who wasn't one of my top people, much less one I really like. Compaq is useless garbage with preinstalled hostileware and incompetent support featuring limited English skills, limited technical skills, and headsets that don't work.)
