    Knowing how to work the outer glow tool does not make you a 'designer'

    (posted earlier in the wrong thread)

    OK OK, Yes, I know that you get what you pay for... That being said, I am kind to small animals, and when people post needing money to pay their rent, or turn on the heat, I am a sucker and throw them some work.

    A week ago I had someone add some graphics to a page, to gay it up for me. I sent him to my hosted galleries & told him to grab pics from them. He used 3 of them, and the 4th, is an obviously stolen image. WTF?!?!?! Now he wont respond to my ims.

    There is another incident, but I'm giving the kid a second chance to make good before I go public.

    I am quickly losing my softspot for those that need a helping hand.

          I've hired dozens of designers in recent months and many of them left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Either they couldn't give me what I asked for, couldn't deliver it on time, or couldn't figure out how to use the proper images that were legal...

          Hope you get it worked out, though many are willing to mess up their reputation for $20 simply because people just keep working with crooks.

              Your title has nothing to do with your subject...you act as if this reflects on all of the "designers" out there...when it truly reflects on how you chose to do biz.

              did you look at this person's portfolio?

              did you see who else they might have worked for?
