Cheapest way to buy a LEGAL copy of any abobe product is to buy the OEM version from ebay or whatever, and then amazon.com for the CS update.
I think you're not allowed to buy oem copies, but aside from that it's fully legal and you'll get the software quite cheaply...and I'm off.Comment

I personally bought an obsolete OEM copy (very old version of photoshop, I think 5) from a computer store for $50 and then updated it to 7, and later to CS.
Total price would be like $250...and I'm off.Comment

why is it illegal to buy OEM versions? might be illegal to sell them but the buyer can't be blamed. If you go to a computer parts distributor and get their catalog I think you will see OEM bundled software packages.
wonder what the % is for registered versions of Photoship versus cracked. maybe 20% of all Photoshop installations are paid for?
I never feel bad for Adobe, it's always been part of their marketing strategy to make their products easy to crack, they get people hooked on their products, make them the industry standard, Photoshop is to photo editing like Kleenex is to tissues, they know a decent percentage of people will buy the product eventually.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting.
