Have one question:
"Shouldn't having yourself setup the blog on your dedicated server, result in more freedom (not beeing forced to use the same CMS everybody.etc..)?
At the same time they would loose lots of potential they would loose alot of the people participating on such blog communitys and locals to it...
this is sort a double edge sword, whats your input on it?"
