they counter is lacking, it would be acurate if they did not spend all the money before october, now they will have to ask for 50 billions more to cover cost until october

They're shutting down some adult education centers here in AZ, because Arizona has to spare over a billion $ for this war.

Cutting down from education is the worst thing you can do to this country.

Or the best... depending on what class you're in and how rich you are. The poor and uneducated define the rich and well educated.

wonder how much it would cost for a "real" war, instead of a bunch of iraq's with ak's, considering now everybody knows how we goto war and most of our techniques and bomb weapons, since bush was stupid enough to let reporters record that shit live all day long for his ego. the next war will end the world, half the country was probably watching like "wow look at what they got and how they are doing it, we can't compete just get some nukes ready", unless his type of thinking is "no one will mess with us now we are to powerfull"

The point of war is to keep the people from getting too comfortable. They waste $100's of billions of dollars of OUR MONEY on THEIR MAKE BELIEVE WAR to make sure we don't all have food and a good education. If everyone's comfortable and intelligent, there's no cheap labour, and there's too much of a risk to the hierarchical society of banks and CFR members over everyone.

I fail to see what this war has to do with Al Queda, besides guaranteeing another massive attack on the US.

                                                  Great quote on that website:

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."

they cut EDUCATIOn in LA 450 million this year.

So many teachers out of work, there are kids in this state that do not have books or desks to sit in. there are simply too many kids and not enough teachers, so they cut education 450 million in Los Angeles ALONE.

this money could be much better spent.

if you cant even buy desks for kids in schools you should NOT be funding a war and giving IRAQI KIDS DESKS!!

                                                    heres some stats

http://www.laalliance.org/facts3.htmFor 2002-03, Los Angeles Unified School District?s Board of Education will cut about $450 million?over 8% of the school district?s $5.2 billion general fund budget.

One of the largest budget cuts will be to the increase of class size. The LAUSD will save about $48 million by increasing the average class size for 4th-12th grades?bringing many classes to 40 or more.

Overall, it is expected that over $150 million will be cut in ?classroom? expenditures, $145 million in reduced growth and augmentation, and $83 million to schools for ?non-classroom? expenditures, and over $40 million in administration.

While the budget will be cut about 8%, the number of students enrolled in LAUSD will increase by over 13,000 to almost 750,000.
