    Hey Vegas users..need your input!

    Why the heck can't I get Vegas to load a divx or an xvid, or mpeg4 file? It's hard for me to believe Vegas can't handle a codec like this. I have the codec installed for everything else, so is there some "trick" I've missed that allows one to load up a divx movie to edit?

          Because all I want to do is crop out 20 sec promo vids from one large video while also pasting on some text to the promos.

                              So..what's the deal with divx then? You're saying you have no problem loading it into Vegas?
