iluvasians -- You don't need to worry about your account being interrupted again once you have the necessary paperwork on hand with ePassporte. (Barring any truly questionable activity of course).
Your account becomes a verified account once you have the requested paperwork on file. This helps meet the "Know Your Customer Rules" required by the card associations and the "Protection Mode" is in place to protect you and your money as much as it is to protect ePassporte. Had this situation indeed been a case of fraud, you would be posting something very different. ePassporte has no desire to interrupt any legitimate account holders transactions. Especially since that's basically the way ePassporte makes any money.
I question the information you received about the transactions coming from out of the country if indeed your history showed that you had been using the account from that country all along. My guess is that there was a red flag due to a balance which requires further verification of the account holder or some sort of velocity check. Whatever the case, once you are able to get the appropriate paperwork to them, ePassporte can reinstate your account and I assure you it doesn't take two weeks to do it. As far as I know, the account can be reinstated the same day the paperwork is received as long as everything looks good and is complete.
