Same reason mexican food and indian food is so spicey - they didn't have the best meat or refridgeration back in the day so they used spices to cover up the "going bad" flavor

most free food for clubs is extra salty or hot , when I was a kid I worked as a barboy at a night club. On free pizza night , they would have me cover the pizza with hot sauce, turn up the heat in the middle of the summer. lol To me pussy and food are very seperate items and shouldnt be served in the same room. lolComment

If anyone has been to SUGAR"S in Austin, Tx you know that damn good meals and strippers go together quite well. I worked in this bar and they served the best lunches in town. This was mainly a white collar bar and the girls had nothing to do with food prep. They had a full service kitchen and wait staff. The lunches were to die for. Steaks every day of the week! This place had a waiting line at lunch everyday. No buffets ..just good fucking meals
