a somewhat reliable cheap car i wont mind wrapping around a telephone pole?

the cars i have now (acura and camaro, got rid of my grand prix) i like to be somewhat careful with.

i'd like another car i can drive sometimes and more importantly lend out to friends....a city car i wont mind fucking up beyond recognition

    3k or under.........

any ideas? i looked up civics but the closest i could find was 3k with 130k miles on it for a 95....

    any other ideas?

A VW or Golf maybe? You should be able to find something in that price range.

    Spend you some brain.

If you want a car that handles like a gocart, and one that enjoys engine swaps and 11 second quarter miles, get a honda CRX.. 91 SI model. Usually under 3k if you live in the US and they're stock.

Just dont put a bodykit on it, or I'll be forced to kill you.

i wouldnt park that near my cars. it's lookin like neon so far evne though i really dont want to pay for repairs on tha tlittle shit toy....

i just want something that can handle like 3-5k over the next 6 months with not too much upkeep.

cant let my friends drive my current cars, and i dont like driving either of em in the winter around here really.

if i did get that car i'd probably never drive it myself more than the trip back from the buy.

Get a Geo Metro or a Dodge Omni. Friends would have to be pretty desperate to borrow either of those but they are solid, cheap cars that will last to about 150k miles.

honda. if you can't find a honda under $3k, you need to look harder.
