i'm not denying the total hits - bandwidth would confirm that. you have no reason to lie there. I believe that totally.
i'm just thinking your system either for counting uniques may be a little skewed or your system for counting total hits is actually counting image loads - an AVERAGE of 50 page views for surfer is enormous and unheard of- but if every image on the page is counted as a page load then a page with 20 images loaded 3 times would look like 50.
