From my experience so long as a single IP is not loaded with 300 sites of similar content then there is no difference between a shared or dedicated IP. Has anyone else had this experience?
I think the real issue here is similar content and in order for the SE to list both pages having them on different IPs helps, otherwise it offers no real benefit.
