A few other people reported similar things. In our case all programs are still there. My programmers are looking into this right now.
We just uploaded the last version (3.5.11) again. Could you please download and install it (overwrite everything - only the software components will be replaced). http://www.statsremote.com/clients/download/
One member that had this problem just reported that all programs were there again after he installed version 3.5.11.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we will try to find the problem ASAP.

My ICQ doesn't work. No matter how I try to connect (ICQ, ICQ2Go, Trillian, etc.) it won't let me. I tried to setup a new UIN but it wouldn't connect either. Please send an Email to jb AT statsremote DOT com.
We're truly sorry but unfortunately we still have no idea what happened. We have no programs missing here and we test every update on all operating systems (through the automatic update feature and installing the setup) before we release it. When we uploaded version 3.5.11 again a few hundred members had already updated to version 3.5.12 and it seems like most of them have no programs missing either.
Looks like I am missing at least one or two...have no clue which ones they are but I will have a look. I keep a seperate file of all of them anyways "just in case" so it won't take long to get things fixed.
I am missing 5-6 programs over here...
the first ones I noticed first are probilling & vxsbill.
the other ones I don't even remember... still an update I would not recommend to download!
Everyone who installed version 3.5.12 and have programs missing... please download and install version 3.5.11 (overwrite everything - only the software components will be replaced). http://www.statsremote.com/clients/download/
Please make sure to install it into the original StatsRemote folder.
So far we heard back from about 15 people that they got their programs back after they installed version 3.5.11. For a few people it didn't work though
We're still trying to figure out what the problem is...
ok got all my programs back after downgrading. whew
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
UPDATE (copy and paste from our board... don't want to post the link)...
---
There was a problem with the update (version 3.5.12) today. Several people had programs missing after they updated to this version. We found the error and just released a new update (3.5.13).
First the good news:
Most of our members were not affected by this as they hadn't updated to version 3.5.12 yet.
Most people that updated to version 3.5.12 could recover the programs by downgrading to version 3.5.11 or will be able to recover them with version 3.5.13.
Now the bad news:
For some people it won't be possible to automatically get the programs back. This is the case if you...
1.) Updated to version 3.5.12 today
and
2.) Had programs missing
and
3.) Changed something (added/changed/included/excluded/etc. a program)
If you still have programs missing after updating to version 3.5.13 it won't be possible to automatically get them back. We're truly sorry about this.
In this case we recommend the following: Go to C:\Program Files\StatsRemote\database, find the programs that are missing and add them to StatsRemote again. Please use exactly the same name as the database file is called, e.g. if the database file is called 'Program Name (Processor).dat' you should call the program in StatsRemote 'Program Name (Processor)'. This way you will make sure to keep your historical stats of the programs (StatsRemote won't need to read them again). Please note that the program type and program name can be different. Once the program is added to StatsRemote again you can rename it to whatever you like without losing your historical stats.
Here is what happened:
We support thousands of programs and the program database is getting bigger and bigger (we just added 34 new programs to this update). Once in a while we need to do some 'cleaning', e.g. programs change their name and there are duplicate routines in the software or programs close and we need to disable them, so that the software doesn't check non-existing stats anymore. We did this 'cleaning' several time before and it was never a problem.
This time there was a problem, i.e. quite a few programs were not displayed for some people after the update to version 3.5.12. The account information was still stored but not displayed in the interface. That's why everybody that didn't make any changes (added/changed/included/excluded/etc. a program) was able (will be able to) get the programs back. Everybody that did make changes overwrote all account information with the data that was displayed in the interface, thus the account information of the missing programs is gone.
Lastly, it's good practice to backup your data on a regular basis. In the case of StatsRemote the easiest is to backup the entire StatsRemote folder in Program Files. This way you will always keep your accounts, settings and historical stats. This is by no means an excuse for the problems today, those were totally our responsibility. Again, we're truly sorry about this.
