                                                                            But this particular contest has nothing to do with actual webmistressing ability. I just hate to think that the most talented people (programmers, HTML coders, designers, promotion/traffic people, etc.) might be eliminated so early.

                                                                                                Creative pictures are a VERY important part of our business. You can have all the scripts and html you want... but without content - what are you going to sell? Come ON people. Why are programmers, HTML coders, designers, promotion/traffic people, etc. so much more important than models?

                                                                                                    I'm sure there are some very talented singers, actresses, artists, hahahahahars, dancers, etc. in the Miss GFY bunch, but that's not part of the Miss GFY contest.

                                                                                                    I think this was a good idea for one of the weekly competitions, I just think it's a little sad and wonky that it was the very first one.                                                                                                                         I didn't mean that models were less important, I just meant that it was said from the beginning that webmistressing ability was going to be one of the biggest parts of judging, so I just thought that those tasks should come first. Otherwise, this could turn out to be one great big beauty contest, which is what so many people have complained about and worried about. Countless people have mentioned that they thought this would turn into nothing more than a "Miss Nude World" type of competition, and this particular task seems to reinforce that idea.

I have posted on here I don't know how many times that I have the upmost respect for the models here. Surely someone has seen me do so several times in the past month. It was just stated from the beginning that this wasn't supposed to be based solely on looks. I guess that's why the photo thing just doesn't make sense as the first competition. It makes perfect sense to be in there somewhere. But first? Oh well.

I even emailed her and ICQ'd her and Firehorse to see what was going on. I am glad shes in it.
