    fucking spyware - HELP

    yep, caught another hijacker today - seems to be new

    if you dont type in HTTP:// into the address, it redirects to C:/searchpage.html which happens to be a page they create on your computer..

    you delete it, and it creates itself again, it also forwards any pages not found.

    I ran HiJack This, Spybot, and adaware, plus i downloaded the new hahahahahahas up, it stopped creating the searchpage.html, so now if i dont type in HTTP:// it just goes to page not found..

      Man I had that one too it was a bitch. I finally did a hahahahahahas XP roll back thing

      Tried everything else to remove it first

          I freakin hate spyware bullshit... every once in a while I have to go into red alert mode when I see shit installing... wtf..

              Thats the same one I have..it keeps coming back...that fucker who developed this shit should be shot. I tried everything also Hijack this helps but I must be missing something in the Registry.

                  i forget where i found this, but look for Spybot on the web. i just d/l'ed the other day and it gives you a list of all adware on your computer AND gives you details about the company and what kind of adware it is.

                              I have yet to experience the fun of that particular one; right now I'm battling with "Lycos Sidesearch"; i've cornered it so its only got 1 .dll file but I can't quite figure out how to delete the mother f'er yet. Adds some excitement to working online though I must say.

                                                      AVG works pretty well too.

                                                      I run ad aware and AVG i still have to get spybot.

                                                      This spyware crap really sucks.

                                                          I have some shit on my main box and I cant get rid of it either. Ive used spyboy and ad-aware and still cant find it. Its like targeted pop ups. starting to really piss me off.
