10,000 fonts, how much are they worth?

I have a guy that wants to sell me a mainstream site.
He has all free fonts on it, 10,000 of them (Dont ask me where he got them)

You can see a example of each font and dl the font for free, or you can BUY all the fonts for $39.95

He said he will sell me the site for $2,000 but he says he only makes a few sales a week from it but said he gets over 5k uniques on the site daily.

I was wondering, does it sound worth it and maybe drop the price to make more sales?

How much would it be worth to a designer?

1) why would you want to buy a site when you have no idea where the guy got the content from... even if they are just fonts. Fonts are created by someone. Someone owns the rights to them.

2) it would take you 4 1/2 months to get your money back, and then another 4 1/2 months to make $2K.

3) push porn.. it's easier and quicker to make $2K.

Maybe thats why he's selling it.

I tried porn but it just didnt work to well.

Untill I can make more at porn online then someone working at minimum wage could make then Ill stick with design.

Sounds like his site is crap. There are already over 500 billion trillion sites which let you download 50 million four hundred thousand and twenty seven fonts for free.

I don't design adult sites, mostly do tons of banners for mainstream sites.

I have never tried to make money in adult designs before... maybe should look into it, but there are ALOT of designers better then I am already in this business.

This business is not easy if you think like everyone else. You'll need to relearn a lot of things.

About 15 minutes of work for a mainstream site.

I could have gotten it down to 32 colors and it would have loaded in about 10 seconds on a 56k, but I left it at high colors.
