512ram = Now that I have hahahahahahas booted and a few programs like photoshop, dreamweaver and VMWare open, all I have to do is decide which 2 I want to close before I open any projects.

centrino has 1MB level 2 cache , believe it or not my 1.5 centrino runs waaaay faster than my pIV at 1.8GHz, 512kb cache - 512 ram too, Abit MoBo.
never noticed the problems you have with pshop , dreamweaver etc (I'm using homesite tho, I don't like my memory filled with useless things DW is full of)
I'm not stupid, I did my homework before buying this laptop.
it has the best speed/weight/battery life compromise.
