    Chatroom Spambots AOL

    How does AOL let chatroom spambots get away with posting like they do? They are anal about their email so why dont the have moderators killing these bots?

    It's aol...
    Moderators (channel ops) aren't going to happen. They need to follow in yahoo's footsteps and change their protocols to make it more difficult for the spammers

      yea there is definately way to many bots in aol chat rooms theres always atleast 3 or 4 of them spamming away..

        it's amazing how big aol is goes to show advertizing over substance usually wins. Aol needs lots of change then again they have for a long time.

          I think the AOL IM chat rooms are more of an after thought to t hem. They do moderate their regular AOL chat rooms pretty heavily though.
