Stitch, I promoted them for awhile and was doing 1:200 (ouch) sending visitors to the main page. This was with shitty TGP traffic though. I want to promote them, but I dont know HOW the hell to promote them. I remember you giving me one suggestion...which gave me the 1:200 results.
And now that the $5 fridays are gone I want to go cry.

Was pushing the site as an adult cam site. The galleries are off my server now, but they were webcam shots. (was going for the "authentic" feel.
) My assumption is that since it was TGP traffic it didnt convert that well. I'm not sure that TGP traffic is good for this kinda stuff.
Was thinking about adding AAC to my PPC campaigns but that can get VERY risky as conversions need to be really good to turn a profit.
Im trying to figure out a good way to promote it. If you want Ill go ahead and hit you up on ICQ.

really? i was very impressed. i throw the same traffic at it that i normally throw at join4free sites. i was getting more signups than usual and the payout was much higher. plus, the surfers were actually upselling and converting to paid members (something that never happens with the surfers i send to other j4f sites).
i tried it with some google adwords traffic on friday (my first time using it) and made a very nice ROI.

psyko, you were able to convert adwords traffic into a good ROI? you must have insane conversions because even at 1:20 you arent making a HUGE profit. (and this is assuming you are only paying 5 cents a click.)

i converted 1:12 with the adwords traffic.
my average CPC was $0.31 CDN ($0.22 USD) so each join cost $2.64 and made $5 ($2.36 profit).
