yeh, after they got some make up removers and some guitar lessons, slayer went on to be THE influential force in thrash/death metal, but doesnt change the fact that in 84 they sucked ass along with every other coked out mascara 'thrash' band in LA

In 84 was right after they came out with "Show No Mercy", their first and still best album.

I dunno south of heaven is pretty good. And the one after what the fuck was it now.. Damn cant remember. The new shit sucks mostly they got a couple of good songs here and there.

Im no longer a metal head. When I was I was into harder shit more like Deicide, Cannibal Corpse and the like. Show no mercy was good back then (i dont even like it anymore) but definatly not the best.
