I just got back from the dealership, and they said Ford is no longer going to produce the SVT Cobra. Said all upper performance Mustangs are going to be handled through Saleen. Anybody hear that?

Yeah, they had a bunch of the Saleen's and one Roush at the dealership...but none of those were supercharged. The Saleens had only 25 extra horsepower for the extra $20,000. Sorry...don't think so. $42K? The SC version is supposed to be just under $60K and the Extreme version somewhere in the mid-upper 60s...400hp, 500hp, respectively. Damn overpriced if you ask me. I've got a 516hp Saleen right now I'd sell for just $20K with a practically brand new drivetrain.Originally posted by jt420

They did mention no more Focus...didn't mention the Lightning, but up against Dodge's SRT-10, it's no wonder. They did specifically state no more SVT Cobras though...just the GT and V6 through Ford and higher performance through Saleen. Are you sure about this?
