    hi everyone.

    finally taking time to do my website. first part (and most important) is portfolio. please, check it out, comment it, tell me your thoughts, report bugs, etc.

                                                                                                          the cost is 300 eur until the site is completed ($350 for you americans), the prices will go up this week.

                                                                                                                                              the logo process is not all about variations... it's more complex process, most of the designers praise themselves with like "10 concepts", etc... that sucks. every designer does few concepts, either as a sketch on the paper or something else, trying out/thinking about idea...

                                                                                                                                              however, designer's duty is to present the client with the one which he thinks is best, he's actually paid for it, right? designer should not confuse person with "here are your 10 designs now you choose"... as what's the purpose of designers, just creating (or even worser, taking other's) clipart?

                                                                                                                                              as i always communicate with the client directly and ask a dozen questions before even going to the task, i can't say actually how many variations it includes, as we work together to make
                                                                                                                                              you satisfied.

                                                                                                                                              the same is with modifications. of course, if you say you want something like this, and then i do it, you say no, not that, i do the other, you say again it's not that, etc... then it's obvious that:

                                                                                                                                              a) client has no idea what he wants;
                                                                                                                                              b) client is actually damn stupid and if he's so "clever" with every concept being shitty, he should do it himself, not paying the designer;
                                                                                                                                              c) both?

                                                                                                                                              the worst scenarios are when there are 2-3 decision makers, one says it's great, then in two days he comes with "my partner hates it, completely", you do something his partner loves, he doesn't, etc... they should decide their mind who is the MAIN decisionmaker.

                                                                                                                                              and so on..

                                                                                                                                              hope i've clarified the situation at least a bit. and trust me -- logo creation is COMPLEX process.

For $350 a logo he's turning out logos mainstream design firms would charge thousands of dollars for.

                                                                                                                                                              but he's not the only game in town - Design Outpost has some great logo designers, they won't let you post a logo contest there if it's porn but if you need a mainstream logo DO is great.
