That doesn't stop god from burning children and babies alive in apartment fires. It doesn't stop god from watching drunken "christian" men rape children and babies. It doesn't prevent god from laughing while children and babies die from horrendous disease and infections.
Sure god COULD do something to prevent these sorts of things from occurring in this world, but shit man, why would he?
