Well it depends. I'm not going to get dirty and do it myself if I have somewhere important to be. If its sitting in my driveway and I'm not dressed up then yeah I'd do my own self.
Only time ive ever called roadside assist to change a tire was when Firehorse and i were driving Bris>tassie (approx 2000Km) with a van full of furniture and a Horse float on the back and at 2am just outside sydney we got a flat. We were on a tight time limit to get to the boat another 1000 miles away, within just 12 hours
The tire was underneath the van on a brace - and the only way to unlock the brace was from INSIDE the van (which was packed to the brim) and we had no access to any tools, anyhow.
Had to call them to come and break the brace off (which they aren't really allowed to do but luckily we got a kool rep)
i only call AAA when i have to... because it takes their asses fucking 3hours to get to me... and im even a holder of some special card because my father owns a limo company..
I'd change it unless I was on the motorway. The highway code says not to change tyres at the side of the motorway because it's too dangerous... drivers are supposed to call the safety trained breakdown guys instead.
idiots. if you had an important business meeting you had to be at in an hour, you'd get all sweaty and dirty changing a tire? i think looking professional is more important than being too proud to call AAA
Had my tire blow out a few months ago... I call the guys from the office for help! Last time we had quite a scene... it was Puma, LizzBlizz and Butrflied all on the side of the road. (The latter two just happened to be driving by when they say Jay changing my tire). Mechanical Breakdown and Office Bonding.

Hell yeah! I'll call them and have them come out and change it. I don't want to be kneeling on the freeway trying to get a tire off. Fuckers on the freeway drive way to fast and out of control, let the service guy do it.
Now if I was at home and the car had a flat then I would do it no prob.
It takes much longer to wait for someone do it for you.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
I have yet to get a flat in my car, if I did I would have to call, not to change the tire but to get to it. I have a monster sound system that I can't lift by myself
It's ridiculously easy to fix a flat tire. You pull out the nail with a pair of pliers. You then poke the hole back and forth a few times with a t-handle spiral probe. Take a self-vulcanizing strip and thread it into a t-handle insertor. Stick the insertator in the hole. Twist and pull out. Refill the tire with air and you're good to go.
