Ok, so at 8:50 tonight we went to Wendys on Durango to get some food and we decide to eat inside instead of taking it home like usual. So we get in line behind about 6 or 7 kids who dont have enough money to pay for their food, they were like 10 cents short so I asked them if they needed some change, they said yes so I gave them the money and they thanked me.
So they go and sit down, we order our food, go sit down, and my boyfriend told me they were drinking beer (he was facing them) I was like really? They were all between 16-18. So the kids who I gave the money to were sitting with a bigger group of kids, probably 15 who were the ones drinking. There were 3 boys all 16 or 17 sitting together eating, minding their own business, when one of the boys from the large group says, "Hey, those are the Desert Breeze kids!" Then proceed to tell the kids that they are going to kill them, beat them up etc...so the large group surrounds these poor kids and this lady in there had a couple small kids started screaming at them "We have small children, take this outside!" And started yelling at the Wendy's employees to do something.
So they call the cops.
The boys still didn't stop messing with the other kids. So the lady's husband says "Hey, they've got beer, too!" Then the kids go out to their cars. They just sat out there. Here come to cops. The boys attempt to drive away, but 2/3 cars they were in got trapped by the cops.
Needless to say, I will never go to Wendy's on a Friday night. Damned kids.
