EZ Contest:
So I'm trying to come up with a great band name. Style of music: in the vein of Pink Floyd, TOOL, Tori Amos, APC, NIN, Jeff Buckley, U2, MUSE, etc.
Think melodic, intellectual rock with a sometimes harder edge.
So here's the deal:
I've listed our current top contenders above - first, vote which of the current names you like the best!
Then, if you have a better name, post it in this thread. I'll leave this open for 48 hours.
Then, in 48 hours I'll post a new thread with the top 3-4 winners from this poll + the best of the new entries.
So, then it's up to GFY - they can vote for one of our existing band-names or they can vote for your new entry. If GFY votes that your name is the best, I'll paypal you $50, EVEN IF WE DON'T USE OR LIKE THE NAME.
If one of the current band-names gets the most votes, no one gets anything! (just so no one starts the inevitable "calling me out" thread!)
So hit me up with something original, that rolls off your tongue & is catchy but still makes you think - (linguists say "cellar door" are the most phonetically pleasing spoken words EVER - see if you can come up with something better then that, haha).
