Ball hair is too thin to warm, but it does have a practical use.
Ball hair acts as an ?alarm? of sorts. Without trimming, the hair on your ball sack grows long so that it forms a sort of ?tickle barrier? around your balls. This ?tickle barrier? prevents fanged animals from nuzzling up nice and close (when they intend to sink their fangs into your nuts). Their sneak attack is prevented because your ball hair will be disturbed by their approach and you will receive a gentle ?tickle alarm? sensation on your extremely sensitive nut sack. At the time you feel this tickle, you have a small window of time to quickly move your ball sack away from the teeth of the animal otherwise the next sensation you feel will be very, very bad.
It?s like a mosquito caught in your arm hair. When you feel the mosquito, you smack it. When a fanged animal disturbs your ball sack hair (on its appraoch) you have a chance to save your nuts!
