Mum arrested for naked punishment
A mother has been arrested for forcing her 12-year-old son to sweep the yard naked as a punishment.
Neighbours in Fredericksburg, Virginia, alerted the police after seeing the boy outside the house in 50F temperatures and in the wind and rain.
The mother was charged with felony child neglect, reports the Free Lance Star. The boy told police his mother had given him the punishment for misbehaving at school.
No court date has been set in the case. The mother faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
