    Why is it that so many nice restaurants...

    Have busboys and waiters that look like, talk like and have the mannerisms of Eminem?

    What happened to restaurant owners wanting to maintain an image of classiness?

    I'm was eating at a mafia owned (at least in the past) Italian joint, and I have to listen to some pasty waiter screaming "G UNIT!" as if he were a badass. If the original owner were still alive, I'm sure he'd have laughed if a kid like that even thought about applying for a job.

                                                                  Its all related to everyone own socioeconomic place or status in society?..basically you wanted to actually be something in life when you matured and are reaping the rewards of your labor (i.e., fine dining, etc)?..those below you on the food chain of life didn?t have these opportunities?.. unfortunate as it may be?.life is a big crap shoot?

                                                                                  I used to bus tables at a gourmet steak house when I was 16.. I'll tell you this... I never acted like an immature tool. If I did, I'd have been out of a solid job, and into a fast food restaurant.

                                                                                  FL... I hear ya. It just amazes me that so many people are so damn unmotivated. The best part was that he started bragging to me that he made $300 the other day as if I was supposed to drop to my knees in shock. I'm 23... I'm a college grad, engaged to a beautiful woman, have a great family life, awesome friends, and I'm financially secure. What I did isn't extraordinary... It's just what I set myself up for in life...Just like many people my age have done.

                                                                                  I have no idea why this kid was talking to me. He invited me to go drinking with him. Sure, I look my age, but apparently he missed the part where I speak properly, I don't drive a shitty mini truck and I don't tell people what I make. Shit like this makes me never want to return to a restaurant like that again.
