He did 1 logo for me and I hired him to do a GUI for a program. Paid him
$1k up front for 1/3 of the project. Been two years now and no response
from him.
At first he had "family problems", then he kept on saying he's not getting
my e-mails or PMs. finally i just lost contact.
The guy has skills, but he seems to have ripped me off for close to $750
so I'm not happy. Buyer aware, the problems started AFTER I paid.

I had my share of problems with him. Mostly due to waiting and shit.
He does good work, but doesn't seem very reliable to me...and I never ended up using his logo either. Didn't like it.

I hired him to do a logo, 2 template pages and a few icons and it took him a month to get the logo and two pages back to me - he never got around to doing the icons so I had to cancel the contract with him.
The guy has MASS talent but I can't let his personal problems be my business problems.
He made me an incredible logo but never sent me the files so I could do print work so I'll need to have someone else do it over.Comment

We hired him to do a design for a new project, we also paid him almost 1k, and then he started with personal problems... I don't know if they´re real, but I need the work done...

He did some unacceptable work for us and then vanished. Strangely enough, he took the crappy logo he made for us, slapped another company name on it and sold it to some other unsuspecting client.Comment

http://www.gablu.biz/ - If this is the guy you are talking about he did a logo for a friend of mine. My mate only paid him on completion of the work and was very happy with it.
