The area affected, Limon is on the carribbean side and isn't very well protected at all. The center of CR is protected by mountains and the Pacific side doesn't seem to have much happen to it....
The Caribbean is not a good place to be right now (anywhere in the Carribbean) I'd think, what with all the earthquakes in the Atlantic happening or predicted
