why ban drugs/ cigarettes and other substances?

why should these things be banned?

rehab costs countries billions of dollars
enforcing and capturing drug dealing = billions wasted
media time dedicated to teaching people = billions wasted

it's better to just have everything completely available.

that way the fucken drug addicts will take drugs, od, die quicker and same everyone alot of trouble.

if they want to do it it should be there

Because the government has finally figured out that there is more money in policing this shit (aka "The war on drugs") than there is in taxing it.

Actually the govt could make a fortune taxing weed. The chemical stuff people can whip up quickly would be a zilch tax revenue if legalized.

lmao...think about the tax money you pay for the people in prison because of weed. You think all that tax money goes to their 3 squares a day? They make more money by writing you tickets, setting court dates, hiring more cops, paying more judges, you tell me...are they gonna make more taxing you or just plain fuckin ya?

Why produce it in the first place?
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Because without someone producing the shit, there is no war on drugs and there is no tax money funding the so called war on drugs. Same thing with medicine. Doctors found out with smallpox that the money isn't in the CURE...it's in the MEDICINE. Think about that. How many fucking diseases you seen cured since smallpox.

The government spent way too much resources fighting it and brainwashing people that drugs are terrible... too late to back out of it now...

I believe prohibition violates a fundamental freedom. No one should be able to tell me what i can or can't put into my own body.

Governments try to blame crime on drugs, but if they weren't illegal to start with you wouldn't see rival gangs killing over them. How many tobacco or liquor importors/producers do you hear about killing each other? I admit the liquor industry is a pretty cutthroat business, but I must have missed the last Coors vs Budwieser gangstyle shooting.
