So, I am making a website for a small company...

...and they keep changing their fucking mind everytimes I finish something.
"Can you add a frame with links here".
"Add the logo to the background."
"Add a small picture of a car here."

I am never gone design for other people then myself again, this fucking sucks!

Ya I feel your pain. I have had a Real Estate company that has owned me the remaining 900 dollars on their site's creation since early in Feb. They keep saying that they need everyone in their office to look it over for approval. The last change they requested was that one of the links for "Gloucester City Public Schools" be spelled correctly. Nothing like withholding $900 for a single mispelled word. That has been the only change so far btw...

I am about to just go with a giant Goatse on their homepage...

That should get their asses in gear.

have done a TON of sites for non adult small business, and the smaller the business, the BIGGER of a pain they can be.

what is do is make sure they are aware that nothing starts until you have everything hahahahahahahahaed, nuber of pages, images/page, ANY prefferences they have for layout/design elements, etc. then make them understand once things start, changes will be billed hourly. that tends to encourage them to get everything they want done sorted up front. there will ALWAYS be adjustments, but this tends to keep thier 'experimenting' to a minimum

Yep - mainstream companies are a nightmare for doing small sites. They don't know what their image is, what their features should be - they don't remember what they told you at first - they fucking schizophrenic.

Even worse with small financial institutions.

So far for me the Real Estate people have been the absolute worst. They think they are such hot shit too...lol. It is like a cock fight in that office everytime I go there. The ones who aren't backstabbers are probably cocksuckers...

No shit man. I had a call the other day and the first thing the lady asked was how much I charged. I told her it depended on what she wanted and we could work out a plan. I asked her what she planned to accomplish with her page and she says I don't know so i start listing some ideas....

I can tell this is going to be one of those pages where I make it and then she tells me what she doesn't like about it and I have to change it 50 fucking times.
                I don't own RexMag anymore.

That was the first thing they asked me, "How much do you charge?". And the guy who called didnt know what he wanted.

                  Wildcard: I learned my lesson.
