I saw an article the other day about some doctor giving her kids marijuana tea to treat ADD or something.

NOWHERE does it say the kid was actually smoking. There are only a few google news links even about this. Drudge picked it up before many others, and is making it out more than it is. And calls it "felony child abuse" instead of the ACTUAL charge

A lot of time's story's and headlines are taken out of context. Almost every spamming case you see in the actual news says something like "SPAMMER TAKEN DOWN!" when in fact it was the credit card fraud and identity fraud he committed that got him in trouble/arrested. You can also look at a GREAT example of this through Paul Rueubens, a k a "Pee Wee Herman". He was arrested for possession of child pornography, but when you actually research the case almost everything taken as evidence was of "Questionable" children. Also was there no actual pornography persa. It was all of art, that when produced, was legal. The movie dragonfly and a CD by nirvana both depict a baby naked, but no one ever says anything about this. Paul had pictures of children nude, all which were artistically done, and the media goes crazy.
Personally I think it is sick for him to posses the pictures anyway, but of course the media never mentioned the already setup plans of him auctioning the art. Also the fact that his sentence included him registering as a sexual offender for only two years. Obviously the judge had to agree these were not pornographic since he already had a previous sexual offense against him and received no jail time and only two years registering.

Maby before you try and control other's lives because the few mistakes they have made you need to grow up and fix your own mistakes. Now if a child is getting beat, yes take the kids from him. Well I said many times that since they are 2, it is wrong. I never said it was right. I mearly said taking the kids away is wrong. As for gag or not, last time i checked a two year old couldn't inhail. I deff do think something should happen to the parents if it wasn't a gag, but not taken away. On top of all, taking kids away from their parent is one of the worst things you can do. You should only do that if it is needed, and in this case it wasn't.Originally posted by BigFish
