    This Board Is Working Less than 25% for me

    I even had to click "new thread" 3 fucking times before the w i n d o w actually opened without a "page cannot be displayed"

    Out of 30 clicks, not even 10 produced a thread that opened correctly.

    Anyone have a clue why? Some have said, its your ISP, well my ISP brings up every other fucking site, without problems, if I come here, no w i n d o ws open.

                          it's doing the same thing to me too. i've tried IE, Opera, and FireFox. so it's either my ISP or the board. makes kinda for russian roullette on the baords.

                                      Happens to me too. It took fucking 10 minutes to reply to a post earlier. Just about everytime you click on a thread, it 404's.

                                                                                                              infact, there are much larger boards than GFY running vbulletin and have no issues like this.

                                                                                                                          Once they moved to Linux...or whatever they use now...the problems started.


                                                                                                                          and YES, GFY was running on w indows 2000 for years...up until last year.

                                                                                                                                          Running big boards can be somewhat of an art form.

                                                                                                                                          But I could see how people migrating from \/\/indows to *nix might run into some problems / learning curves.... even the better hosting companies might not know the best way to setup the network for a large forum without a little trial and error first.
