Hey Lens, I noticed that a recent post about PlatinumBucks and their spamming was locked and one of my threads was deleted from the post. Shit man.....I keep forgetting how close you and Dave are....sorry

Ya' know......Seems like the more people complain about his spam the more you protect him. Is it really all about the money Lens or are there other reasons?

Honestly, it seems you have a personal vendetta against Platinum Bucks. The same kind of claims you've been making could be made against any company regarding their spam policies. That would be my guess why the threads were shutdown.

Well hell, you may be right. PB sits back and let their spamming affiliates fill my mailbox promoting his trash and when I complain nothing get's done. I should probably send him a fucking dozen of roses instead of being pissed at him huh?

Yes. I agree Dean. I was about to add quite a lot of detailed info to that post about my problems with PB spammer affiliate "14476" and the thread got locked.

Compared to other "threads gone wild" on GFY , it was rather odd that one got shutdown rather suddenly.

Here's my guess why the threads are getting shut down. Cause PB spends a lot of money here that's why? Perhaps Lens feels compelled to protect his financial interest by not letting people speak their mind about PB? Wouldn't wanna piss off Dave cause he might take his advertising money somewhere else.

Would be nice if Dave could take up for himself but that doesn't seem to be the case. If he had enough complaints here, perhaps he would change the way he does business. But as long as people like Lens support him and his spamming efforts by deleting and locking threads, he'll continue down that road and not take reponsibility for his actions.

Go ahead Lens, lock this thread too. Or delete it - whatever you wanna do. And if you wanna ban me - that's certainly your choice. It would be so much easier to do all of that then to stand up against people like Dave who participate in unprofessional and unresponsible mailing practices huh?

At the very least, PB takes their complaints pretty seriously, even when they are from webmasters. They have a remove list and they maintain it.

You call them spammers. That tells me you don't understand mailing.

Platinum Bucks doesn't pay me to say these things; but, at least I understand the hows and whys of sponsors and mailings.

There was no reason for him to cancel the account of the person mailing you. All you needed was for him to get your name off the list, no matter how it got there. And, he offered several times to do just that.

Let it go, hon. There are much better battles worth fighting.

Raven, asking a webmaster to hand over all of his email addresses is a far cry from what is written in his TOS. How do I know what will happen to those email addresses? Do I REALLY want to hand a bunch of my email addresses over to a company like PB? Gimme a freak'n break?

Their TOS plainly state what happens to people who spam their program - yet Dave doens't have the balls to enforce it. Why? Cause he's too money hungry to shut down an account like that?

But you are right about one thing - I'm wasting too much of my time on this knowing that nothing will ever change. Dave makes a lot of money sleeping with spammers...he's not about to change anything cause of me
