    Some crazy oldskool bombers flying over...

    Dont know what's been going on, but for the past 3 or 4 days a shitload of bomber planes flying overhead. I am in Newport Beach, CA and get some planes going over from John Wayne Airport, but not these things.... They maybe B10 bombers. or something huge. 4 engines and huge props. with glass ball gun turrets underneath. some of them have crazy shit painted on em like dragons, fire and eagles n shit. At first I thought it was an airshow at the airport, but now its been 3 days and they go over every 5 minutes. I have counted at least 50 of them fly over.

                          I was watching the History Channel. Seems that theres a fad to rebuild old WWII Aircraft and to fly them to an event. They might be going to one of these events?

                                              B17's and B25's most likely. They have the machine gun bubble turrets and are the most common from that time frame.

                                              Look at them closely... 25's are larger and heavier. 17's look sort of spindly.

                                                  They might just be having them out for a dry-run!

                                                          Looking at the possibilities, I would say its likely planes returning from the 2004 March Air Show with Thunderbirds display. March ARB and March Field Air Museum, Riverside, California, USA. held on Sunday April 25th 2004
