I do tend to think that the majority of Americans are complacent hemognized sheep living in a colorized world yet only able to see things in black and white.
In this country we fight a multi-billion dollar a year drug war that is only increasing the supply, lowing the costs, and incarcerating hundred of thousand of our own citizens. Yet at same time gobble up every concievable corperate drug available and bitch because the prices are lower in other countries. We all know this is a failure yet we just let it go on.
We go to war to fight terrorism which is just a tactic by the way and you can not fight a tactic. We end up liberating a country instead that did not ask for assistance. We proudly claim we are anti-terrorist. Yet we have organizations like PETA and assorted clinic bombers marching and publically giving donations to those that commit acts of terrorism in this country.
We built alot of this country on the backs of tobacco producers, then allow them to be taken to court and go so far as to make it a crime to smoke in an establishment. As a matter of public health, despite no scientific study that shows second hand smoke causes any signifigant increasing in health risks of others. Yet we allow the Government to not do nothing about global warming because the verdict is still out.
We send children to outdated schools where they do not even learn the basics of handling personal finaces by graduation. Schools with no funds for books but plenty for metal detectors and rent a cops. Then we complain about people living in poverty and off of assistance programs because they where in un-recoverable debt by the time they could of went to college.
We demand large fuel guzzling vehicles, then will complain when the price of gasoline goes up to less than a 1/4 of the cost of our daily starbucks coffee per gallon.
We watch the television hear the sound bytes and believe every huge chunk of rhino shit they want us to. We have no problems sacrificing personal liberties and freedoms for the false sense of security, saftey or prevention.
We do not believe in any personal responsibility and we all are awaiting to scratch off our personal lawsuit lottery tickets the first chance we get no matter how frivilous the case may be.
Simple fact is we as Americans will fight for very little and fall for whatever is sold to us. Our country may act like the warden of this planet but only because it figures that all of us compliant little prison bitches were not that hard to train so the rest of the world shouldnt be that difficult.
