Indeed, I have been in a long distance relationship before and it truely does suck a lot. BUT it can work. If there is true love involved between two partners, no matter how long the distance and no matter how long the time (if reasonable), then it can work out.

However, you CAN make it work if you BOTH are very into each other and talk openly about your future... If you have that established the day to day stuff can be pretty fun.
Make sure she has something to look forward to at all times. Plan your meetings in advance. If you're short on cash, you can make sure she feels like #1 by doing simple inexpensive things.
For instance, send her hahahahahahas you bake., Pick a few flowers out of the neighbors yard and send them to her (they'll be dead but its the thought that counts). If you're thinking about her, send her an email and let her know. Get webcams. Send her a cute pair of undies. Send pictures... regularly. Sexy cell phone text messages are great.
You're lucky. I think girls handle distance better than guys do. Just make a girl feel pretty, wanted, and special and they'll be as loyal and patient as you like. Just be creative and the best of luck to you
