Yah, it's over $1,000 per tooth you need done. Sometimes $2-3k for a root canal and cap depending on the dentist and procedures done.
Insurance usually doesn't cover caps since it's an elective procedure. They will cover having your tooth pulled or a metal cap but not the more expensive cap that looks just like a tooth and is basically undetectable to the casual observer.
My wife had a few of these done last year and is getting more done in a month or so. It's costing me a fortune.Comment

I need those too. My front tooth is chipped and the front 2 are discolored from smacking them into a pool latter when I was a kid. They've always been perfectly straight but they just don't look good discolored and chipped.icq 279990726

I think I would need 8 to cover my entire "smile range", I could care less about the rest of my teeth. Do you ever watch "Extreme Makeover" on ABC? Not too long ago there were two people who had lots of dental work done. The dorky guy suddenly looked rather good after he had extensive work done on his teeth. When he made a guest appearance on "The View," he told the ladies that his dental work, alone, was $85,000. His dentist was Dr. William Dorfman in Los Angeles. The guy does beautiful work, but if you want that Hollywood Smile, you will pay dearly for it.Comment
