Dean beat me to it.... he's right about you moving out from the white backdrop a few feet. If you're working with cheapie lights and that's all you have, then I would at least set one up on either side of you (as in: one on each side) and direct the light BEHIND you to light up the backdrop. I would have a very bright halogen light bouncing off the ceiling as well as one softer light shining right at you. If your flash is on-board (on the camera) I would cover it with something, or at least cover most of it.
Back-lighting from either side of you should take down the shadows to nothing or very close to it.
Better equipment will make it all easier, but will of course be more expensive. You have to decide if your pictures are worth the extra expense.Promote Wildmatch, ImLive, Sexier.com, and more!!

Thanks, CD !! I do plan to invest in better lighting/equip soon. I just bought the camera not long ago, then I bought an E flash unit and I've been testing things out. It's definately worth the investment for me, because the last 3 years I've shot with Pro photogs and my members are used to the high quality/pro images.Originally posted by CDSmith

The 500 watt halogens cost me about $40 bucks each (Cnd funds).
Cheap-cheap!
