once in a while i still pull out the old school nintendo system and play mario from start to finish in like 10 minutes. or my favorite game since i was 5.. Tiger Heli. awwwww YEH!
Excite Bike was the king of all kings. I remember sitting at the show in LA this year playing "Nintendo Legends". I played excite bike for 2 hours! I could have bought the system and the game for the price I paid, but it was definitly worth it!
We had an Atari computer when I was about 5. I had an Atari 2600 when I was around 8. We got a Commodore 64 when I was 9. I've been around games and computer nearly all my life.
I loved the C64 most. M.U.L.E., Impossible Mission, Infocom Games (Zork, Starcross, Suspended, etc.), Bard's Tale, Radar Rat Race, GORF, Jupiter Lander, Caverns of Khafka... there were lots of games on it I loved.
On Nintendo I really only liked Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3 and Final Fantasy 1.
Right now we have a PS2, Dreamcast, 2 Game Cubes and 3 Gameboy Advance (the kids fight over them). Oh, and I also have a Sega Game Gear. We're going to get an XBox someday, and I have an original Final Fantasy 1 cartridge, so I'll probably get a Nintendo again sometime, just for that game.
