In Vancouver, Canada you can rent a basement in someones house for about 600-700 CND.
That is like 450 US a MONTH.
Instead of living in some tiny place, your living it up on the Beach.
Like this girl I know, $100 bills in her purse but she is buming smokes off me and everyone else. Diamond rings and fancy clothing, but asks people to buy her something at McDonalds because she doesn't want to "break her $100 bills" - Just Bullshit. She is like that everytime I see her.
If you are living in some scuzzy dump and hardup for cash I would understand, but you seem to be doing fine living in Hotel for months & Beach Houses.
