Coming out of college the cardinals were the only team that didn't think he was too small to play professional football. So rather than take the money, which nobody would have faulted him for doing, he signed with the team that gave him his shot.

    Not that any of this is relevant, but it just shows the type of character this man had. In my opinion he is a true american hero. I hope my children grow up to have those kinds of values.

        Also saw this at CNN.com. This rouses dual feelings. On one hand he looks like a victim of bush's propaganda. But on other hand, this guy was a real patriot (at least he felt he was protecting his country) and he made an act of the real man. I think any country would like to have more such citizens as Pat Tillman.

                    Today's Jim Rome radio show was all about Tillman and hearing him speak from previous interviews on that show had me tearing up as I was driving in my car. The callers were all saying he inspired them to be better people...He really was a man of courage, honor and conviction.
