Williamsburgh in Brooklyn. Been in the same spot since 1887, has that whole old tavern feel and look to it. It's been Zagat's #1 New York Steak House for 20+ years now. Expect to pay $120-$150 per person (cash only, they don't take credit cards). The portions are HUGE. Get the giant Onions, Tomatos, and Cream of Spinach. It's truly the best meal you'll ever have.
Peter Luger
178 Broadway
Brooklyn, N.Y. 11211
Reservations:

Also visit http://www.peterluger.com for information on them. Seriously.. best damn meals I've ever eaten were at Peter Luger.
WickedFire.com - Stay here. We don't need more of you. Not unless you have money, then, fine...

Down the road from me is a turf and surf that can hold its own against anyone.
2x 30 ounces PortherHouse
1x 14 ounce Bone FileMignon
Hmm someone who knows how to buy meat. Notice the dry edges and almost rotted appearance, proper marbeling throughout the meat.
Original poster I must say, never buy your meat wraped in plastic sitting on a sterofoam plate, it probally had a little diaper under it too didnt it? Do yourself a favor next time and find a real butcher and buy from them.

I usually would - but I had just gotten back from a road trip (it was 8pm) and I hadn't eaten yet today so I headed to Sobeys.
