Yes but how can they prevent shaving if they dont host and secure the tour pages?

Doesnt matter if you put a 5% shave directly on the sales
or 5% shave on the traffic.

They can't actually. That's why I never understood these banners with the slogans "We use NATS, we cannot shave".

Its idiotic to say "we don't shave because we use X affiliate script"
The ways to shave are virtually unlimited

NATS doesn't have a shave feature. NATS claims it will revoke any license which is found to be shaving. NATS contains antishave features.

Can you still shave? Sure. .htaccess

Will it work in the long or short run? Who knows.

"We can't shave, we use NATS" is BS to me.

We do not host the tour pages.

We have never claimed its impossible to shave with NATS. We have only said that we have no shave feature in NATS and we are making very sure noone using it does shave.

ALL ways to shave with NATS which were suggested on this and other boards have to do with redirecting traffic or sending it to other pages. Anyone that knows how NATS stuff has to look and has to be called will easily be able to figure out if traffic is messed with.

In contrast, an affiliate software with a shave feature built in does all this 100% transparent. It is not easy to find them shaving at all since its all playing with the numbers internally.

Also, never forget, we do not react friendly to anyone trying or actively shaving around NATS. If we find proof we WILL terminate their license and we WILL sue them.

It;s never impossible to shave. But at least NATS doesn't make it easy.

you would have to real stupid to try and shave with nats, if you are going to shave correctly you got to build your script from the ground up
